No Cost Service Calls

As an iLines Internet customer you are entitled to our no cost in-home service calls. An iLines technician will come to your property to troubleshoot and repair any issues with the iLines service at no additional cost.  This includes any needed labor or materials to repair or replace any malfucntioning or damaged iLines equipment. 

Details and limitations are listed below.

  • A service technician will not be dispatched until a reasonable amount of troubleshooting has been performed with the customer over the phone or via email to make sure the issue is not something that can be fixed remotely.  Should a customer fail to cooperate with our remote troubleshooting steps and a service technician is dispatched, a service call fee may be charged if the found issue could have been solved remotely.
  • Charges may apply for repeat service calls for the same issue during a 30 day period.  Charges would be waived if the repeat call is for an issue not adequately solved by the service technician at their previous visit or failure due to service technician negligence. Those service call rates are listed in our Rate Ordinance linked at the bottom of the iLines website.
  • Service calls are performed only during our normal business hours of M-F 8:00am-4:30pm.  In most circumstances a technician will not arrive to your home before 8:30am or later than 3:30pm.
  • Service calls cover iLines installed and provided equipment only.
  • Service calls do not cover the burying or trenching of ethernet cable or the setting and repairing of pole or posts that iLines equipment may be mounted to.
  • Service calls do not cover the troubleshooting, configuration or support of customer owned or provided equipment.  This includes but is not limited to tablets, cellphones, routers, computers, wifi extenders, televisions and gaming consoles. If you want an iLines technician to attempt to troubleshoot or service the internet connection on those devices our normal service call rates will apply, and iLines makes no guarantee of being able to fix any issues with the customer owned equipment.
  • A legal adult must be present for the service call should the iLines technican need to access the interiors of any structures on the customer's property.  
  • Failure of a customer to be present at the agreed upon service call time, without prior notification to iLines, will incur a $30 trip charge fee.
